So you know what colour chair you want, you kind of know what you want it to look like and you know what size you want it to be as it has to fit in that corner just perfectly.

You log on to the internet, you trawl around the shops in town and it’s then that you realise – this decision to buy recliner chairs has one extra choice to consider that you hadn’t even thought about – what style of base do you get?!

Basically there are two types of bases – a circular base and a five-foot base. The circular base is quite clever as often it will hide the swivel ring inside the very bottom of the chair, meaning that the base and the chair appears to swivel as a whole. An example of this is the Sorento recliner.

Your other option – the five foot base swivels from the top of the base – pretty much from where the base connects to the chair. In this case the base would stay still and it would be just the chair that swivels. Quite a few of our chairs have this style, for example the Rimini, the Hong Kong, the Capri and the Las Vegas recliner.

Of course if you didn’t want swivel leather recliner chairs you could always consider a static recliner. But that’s a whole other story that I will save for another day!

With all of the exciting new arrivals it would be easy to forget some of the old favourites. So in this post I am going to take the time to remind you of just a couple of our best sellers.

I think we will start with the Sorento recliner chairs. These chairs are swivel recliners, leather faced which means that everything that you sit on, see and feel is leather – the other bits (like the back and the underneath) are PU (faux leather). They come complete with a matching footstool, and are availabe in a number of colours – black, brown, burgundy, cream, green and pale terracotta. Complete with a 12 month warranty we have sold many of these chairs. They are currently in stock so you can start relaxing straight away!

Next I think that I will look at the Lars electric. This chair reclines, is leather faced, is an arm chair style recliner chair and is available in black, brown, burgundy and cream. The back reclines as the footrest lifts, and this is a perfect chair that would easily fit in with a suite already in your house. So now lets move on to the next type of new chair… introducing the Camberra and the Rangoon! These are another first for Furniture Reflections – they are rocking recliner chairs.

Yes that’s right, these top quality chairs have a sliding rocking action as well as a recliner action. The rocking action can be locked quite easily by just using the handle at the side.

Now I hear you asking what is all this fuss about..? Well in the last week alone we have seen five new arrivals. These consist of the following chairs: The Camberra, The Rangoon, The Newcastle, The Winchester and The Canterbury.
